Achieve More Through Partnership

TRAINING ALL AGE GROUPS, ALL YEAR ROUND!

The Skills Partnership believe in lifelong learning and will train candidates of any age from 16 upwards. A range of industry recognized qualifications are available from the leisure and service sector including; Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor, Exercise to Music, Activity Leadership, Childrens Health Related Exercise, Operational Services, Leisure Management, Customer Service &Team Leading and also courses in Literacy and Numeracy.
But this offer isn’t just for Christmas, these funded places available into the New year and beyond!

As Mike Bourke, CEO explains, "We welcome the opportunity to work with learners of all ages and abilities. All ages are welcome, all year round. These are tough economic times for those working in both the leisure and services sector and some employers are cutting back on so-called non-essential expenditure. However, we believe that the funding support provided at present by government will continue to help the entire workforce access the absolutely essential training and development that they need!"

MORE FUNDED PLACES FOR YOU!

As the recession kicks in, it’s now more important than ever to understand whether you or your team are able to receive funding for your training and the news is good! The Skills Partnership has more funded places available than ever before across all age groups nationally. Our advisors can establish your funding eligibility within a matter of minutes. Download our information pack here or call our advice and guidance team today. Nick Hewett, Advice and Guidance manager, is often surprised to find how many employers and employees don't fully understand the funding and course range available to them, "This is a very good time for those looking to upskill to take the plunge. There is more funding support than ever available to eligible learners of all ages. We can take an initial 10-15 minute call to establish funding eligibility and to arrange for an advice and guidance site visit. Site visits ensure that managers and employees understand the funding available and the most suitable areas for their skills development. What's more with the more intensive course delivery people are often shocked to discover that they could achieve a level 3 qualification such as a Personal Trainer award with NVQ and Key Skills within a 6-9 month period."

LONDON LANDS EURO PROJECT

Even more good news for those living or employed in London. The Skills Partnership can now fund individuals who were previously not eligible to receive government funding.
So, if you have a degree or another higher level qualification or have not been a UK resident for very long you or your staff may still be able to get funding for your course. Ginny Keith, contracts manager for TSP describes this as "Euro Boost for Olympic London". She explains, "This is a fantastic opportunity for a whole section of London employees who have traditionally missed out on government funding to make the most of the offer and to get on board with a new qualification. TSP were one of only a handful of providers to be awarded this funding contract and we are determined that Londoners will benefit from it. We want to hear from you if you are interested in our programmes including; Exercise and Fitness, Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor,Activity Leader, Customer Service and Team Leading amongst others. This project is set to run over the course of the next 12-18 months and is already proving very popular because of the number of people who don't normally hit the governments funding profile."

If you have a national insurance number, live or work in London, you may possibly have a degree or level 4 qualification, or maybe just haven't been a resident for long in the UK, you may be able to benefit from this offer.  Interested parties should contact Jennifer Dirkin using the main number below: 0118 902 6955.
